About
& disclosure
One page, no fine print: who writes this site, how the facts are checked, and where the money comes from.
Who makes this
thingstodopuertoprincesa.com is published by Uncompromised Travel, a small network of city decision guides (see the network). Every page answers one question a traveler is asking (is it worth it, how do I get there, what does it cost) and shows its working. Start from things to do, ranked or the planning hub.
How this guide is made
The pages are written as structured data and built into HTML by a small site generator; AI tools are used for research and drafting, and every fact that matters is checked against a primary source before it is published: operators' own pages, the Puerto Princesa Underground River's official site, government and airline pages, the US State Department for safety advisories.
Each page lists the sources its facts were checked against and shows the date of that check as its "Updated" date. A page that has not been re-checked keeps its older date rather than a fresh one. Prices are quoted in pesos with a dollar conversion; anything we could not verify is cut rather than guessed. Review scores are quoted from the platform that published them; this site never invents ratings, review counts or first-hand visits it did not make. Venue hours are not published: they change too often, so every venue links to its live Google Maps listing instead.
Corrections and contact
Found something wrong or out of date? Email [email protected] with the page and what changed; corrections are made in the source and the page's checked date moves with them.
How the site makes money
Some outbound booking links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the platform pays this site a commission and your price does not change. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code. The programs in use: GetYourGuide, Agoda (hotels), TripAdvisor, Klook, GetTransfer (transfers), TourRadar (multi-day tours), Airalo (eSIMs), Kiwi.com (flights), WeGoTrip (self-guided audio tours), BikesBooking (scooter rental) and SafetyWing (travel insurance). What is listed is decided by research; no operator pays for placement or a verdict.
The site runs Google Analytics 4 to see which pages help and which links get used. No ads, no sponsored posts, no selling of reader data.
